About the founder...

Doug Hundley has worked internationally for  over 25 years as both a university and high school educator. He is a published author and scholarship recipient in the field of performance studies and is a long-time external examiner for both the College Board and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization.   

Hundley graduated with a BA in English Literature from the University of Georgia  and holds an MA and PhD in Theater and Performance and Cultural Studies from the University of Exeter, UK where he graduated with honors. He holds professional certifications in secondary education, Advanced Placement (AP), IB and college counseling in both the US and UK and is an associate member of the following professional college and university counseling associations: IECA, HECA and IACAC.  

Hundley founded Encore after working for many years as an international educator where he continued to see a need for qualified college admissions counselors experienced in creative trajectories and international enrollment. His unique experience places him in the rare position to masterfully guide students in shaping and achieving their educational and professional goals.
